TERMS AND
CONDITIONS
All reservations, however made, are accepted by Horning Holiday Homes (hereinafter referred to as HHH) on the following conditions.

1
Contract of Hire. The hiring contract will be between you, the hirer, and the owner of the property for which the booking is made, and shall be deemed to be made subject to these conditions of hire.   The contract is for the hire of the property for holiday purposes only.  HHH  act as agents for owners, and are not principals.  The contract of hire is not effective until HHH despatch to the hirer written confirmation of the booking.

2
Size of Party.  The booking is for the number of persons stated by the hirer on the booking form.  This number may be increased, only up to the maximum capacity stated in the literature/website, by prior arrangement with HHH.  The maximum capacity includes all overnight guests on the premises, regardless of whether they are sleeping in the house, or on boats moored at the property.  Tents may not be pitched in the garden.

3
Initial Payment. Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt by HHH of the deposit payment. However if the booking is made with 28 days of the holiday commencement date the full rental will be required.

4
Balance Payment. The balance of the hire will be due for payment 28 days before the holiday commencement date. HHH reserve the right to cancel the holiday where full payment has not been received less than 14 days before the holiday commencement date.

5
Confirmation of booking. Once HHH has issued a confirmation of booking, the hirer is responsible for the total published price of the property and extras as shown on the confirmation.

6
Booking cancellation.  If you are forced to cancel your holiday you must inform HHH immediately.  In all cases of cancellation your deposit will be forfeited.  If we are unable to re-let the property for the hire period you will remain responsible for the balance and we advise that you take out holiday Cancellation Insurance against this eventuality.

7
Amenities.  The use of accommodation and amenities, where offered, such as swimming pools, rowing boats, etc. is entirely at the users risk, and no responsibility can be accepted for injury or loss or damage to users or visitors or their belongings.

8
Hirers’ responsibilities.  The hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to take all reasonable care of it.  All equipment, utensils, etc. must be left clean, and the property must be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period.  HHH and the owners reserve the right to refuse or revoke any  bookings from parties that may in their opinion (and at their sole discretion) be unsuitable for the property concerned, and reserve the right to repossess the holiday home at any time, where the hirer or any member of the hirer’s party has caused damage.  The holiday home owner shall not be liable to make a refund of  any remaining portion of the hire terms made.

9
Damage. Minor damage or breakage will not normally be charged for, but the owners reserve the right to charge for breakage or damage or unusual cleaning required.

10
Customer service.  If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your hiring you should immediately contact HHH. We and the owners can only rectify problems that we have been made aware of.

11
Availability.  The hiring contract is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities, as agreed, will be available for the dates stated.  In the unlikely event that a property is not available through events arising outside the control of HHH or the owners, then HHH may be forced to cancel the booking. The hirer will be advised as early as possible and will be entitled to a refund of all monies paid.  The hirer will not as a result have any further claims against HHH or the owners.
